Kezia Vi Copeland (She/her) is an interdisciplinary creator from Cincinnati, Ohio that specializes in social justice based work. As a multiracial Black woman, Kezia Vi has a strong inspiration in racial and socio-cultural focuses throughout visual arts, art history research, mentorship of students, and correction of institutionalized education curriculum in the arts. Originally an engineer, then transferring from her initial college as she protested its institutionalized curricular racism, Kezia Vi found herself thriving at Xavier University. Here she found her purpose as a justice based creator and love for interdisciplinary arts. After graduating with a BFA with concentrations in both graphic design & sculpture, Kezia Vi not only freelances through kvc studios, but has led and partaken in research across the United States, Palestine, London, and South Africa to assist in her call to prevent biased education in the arts that she and so many others have endured.
